That’s a good question, Walter. And the answer may surprise you. We’re still seeing a relatively small numbers of truckers using synthetic engine oil, but the numbers are growing. Synthetics can help you achieve fuel savings of up to five percent, and if managed properly, can extend oil drain intervals by a factor of three. The savings accrued from the proper use of synthetic lubricants can indeed offset the premium cost of the product.
