If you are a broker, on percentage-of-revenue, does the carrier have to show you what they are paid so that you can calculate your statement? jkward@xxxxx.ca
The short answer is ‘no’. The longer answer is, you and the carrier should have come to an agreement when you signed on that would allow for verification of the gross revenue of the load. You certainly can’t force the carrier to prove what it was paid, unless you have it in writing in the contract. It’s mostly a gesture of good faith, because you may never see the original freight charges.
